Mantle Refinished

I removed the RBS and bad finish, then wiped on new Waterlox coats and deglossed with a 0000 pad dipped in Johnson's Paste Wax.

Looking good reinstalled. The solid redwood piece looks a lot like mahogany, but it's even softer.

Quick Guitar Stand

Made from Baltic Birch plywood and jarrah.

Projects next in line are a mahogany entertainment center with a waxed Waterlox finish, an A&C dictionary stand with fumed oak + wax finish, and an A&C couch out of jarrah with a waxed Waterlox finish.
